Join The Dalton Genealogical Society

Founded in 1970, the Dalton Genealogical Society is a world-wide not-for-profit organisation devoted to researching, extracting and sharing information with our members.

With hundreds of members around the globe, we sponsor genetic DNA matching, family research and data extraction efforts for the Dalton, Daulton, Dolton and D'Alton surnames. The Society sponsors the Databank, a collection of 430,000+ records and extractions, as well as an open Forum for posting questions for your ancestral research. We also coordinate Society Gatherings at various locations to further communication and Member research activities.

We are all volunteers, and if you have the time, we will welcome your assistance!

Membership Entitlements Include:

• Complimentary copy of the latest Journal
• Two Journals each year from England (All Journals to non UK addresses are sent airmail)
• Access to the Members-only web site, Daltons in History
  An opportunity to:
  • interact with members on-line
  • submit queries about the "brick walls" in your Dalton research
  • publish your Dalton family research
  • post your Dalton family tree in a secure, password-protect area of our web site
• Interaction with the DGS Secretaries
• Attend our Gatherings
• Receive the Dalton International DNA Project report (if enrolled in our Dalton DNA Project)
